Key information:

For a memorable holiday in an idyllic, Grade II listed semi-detached cottage, look no further than this very special former estate worker’s cottage, set in historic Cerne Abbas, one of Dorset’s most photographed villages.

Inside, you’ll find plenty of modern creature comforts, together with the charming character of the original 1830 cob build, especially the exposed oak beams.

You’ll enjoy preparing tasty treats in the impressive kitchen, which features rain-sensitive Velux windows, granite worktops, and a superb range cooker with induction hob.

Upstairs, there are two snug bedrooms nestling in the eaves, yet still with plenty of headroom for taller folk, and you’ve also the choice of a bathroom or shower room, as both are on offer.

Outside, you can spend time enjoying refreshments in the enclosed garden, a quiet place to relax after your day’s adventures.

If you don’t fancy cooking, take a short stroll into the village centre where plenty of local pubs and a general store await.
